this was the night su and i were chilling on the balcony of the grand hyatt, just casually watching the red carpet, when 4/5s of shinee appeared behind us with only two coordi noonas in tow. we were in complete shock. shaking and speechless. there were no other fans around because all the other celebrities had gone through the downstairs entrance so shinee stood mere metres away from us, preparing themselves for the red carpet. they were there for a while but it didn’t feel right to take photos or fancams.
our biggest regret is that we never swallowed our nerves and wished jinki a happy birthday…he looked really sad that night. ofcourse, once he went downstairs, he was all smiles.
sometimes it’s easy to forget that idols are just people, too
